Frazer says, “This set of photographs is a series of projections of both found and hand drawn images onto the human body. The concept challenges the transfer of 2D images onto a 3D form (the human body) and how they react with the muscular and animated elements of the body. The anatomical diagrams which are seen projected onto the body touch on the introspective bond between the tattoo and the living form and in turn the effect this has on the wearer and the observer, and overall one’s identity.”
Frazer
was inspired by Umberto Boccioni’s Unique
Forms of Continuity in Space, 1913.
