A continuation to the right of the Thames sketch on folio 49 of the sketchbook (D05567). This stretch of the river has yet to be identified. For similar views in this sketchbook see folio 46 (D05562). The inscription across the top relates to the coloured study of a classical seaport on folio 49 verso (D05568), for which see catalogue entry for a transcription. There is also some overlap of coloured washes from the same study.
