The View from Windsor Castle, North Terrace, The Brocas to the Right, Clewer Church in the Distance, Right Centre 1805
D06336
Turner Bequest XCVIII 125a

Accepted by the nation as part of the Turner Bequest 1856
Drawn with the sketchbook inverted, and continued to the left on folio 126 (D06337). Identifying the viewpoint of this double-spread, Hill reproduces it as if continued to the right across folios 128–127 verso and 126 verso (D06341–D06340, D06338), to form a continuous panorama from the North Terrace, for which see folios 124 verso–125 (D06334–D06335). However, the component pages are not contiguous in the book and Turner must have drawn his panorama in separate sections.
