See note to the recto (D10584; Turner Bequest CXL 89a) for Finberg’s description of this leaf as ‘loose and unnumbered’. For Ramsgate in this sketchbook see note to folio 22 verso (D10451). This view is from off the harbour mouth, and extends further on the left towards Pegwell Bay than others in the sketchbook which tend to stop short at the lighthouse.
