Perhaps sketched at Richmond, these might be ideas for foreground vegetation in England: Richmond Hill, on the Prince Regent’s Birthday (Tate N00502)1 exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1819; see notes to folio 10 verso (D10601) for background to the picture and related drawings in this book.
