In this sketch, made with the book inverted, of two small boats on a river, the figure in the nearest boat appears to be fishing with a rod. The sail has been lowered and the boat is probably moored up to the bank. Behind him, seen between trees on the river bank and in the distance is a mansion, set back some distance from the river. Although it has not been identified with any certainty, it may be one of several houses near Isleworth (see folio 39 verso; D17712).
The page shows signs of being damaged and repaired at the inner edge.
