The last of five sketches of the Thames in this sketchbook (see folio 38 verso; D17710), this view of the riverbank, drawn with the sketchbook inverted, shows a house partially obscured by trees that may be somewhere near Isleworth, which is shown in a sketch on folio 39 verso (D17712).
