Continued from folio 26 verso (D25812) is the drawing that formed the basis for Turner’s illustration to volume 11 of Sir Walter Scott’s Poetical Works, The Bridal of Triermain: Mayburgh circa 1832 (whereabouts unknown).1 The view is looking north from the southern end of the henge with Beacon Hill in the distance.
