This rather rough sketch, made with the book inverted, may show part of the ruins of Dryburgh Abbey, perhaps the chapter house from the south, although it is too vague to be certain. There are more certain views of the abbey on folios 71–73 verso (D26054–D26059; CCLXVII 73–75a).
