Not noticed or numbered by Finberg, this is a floor plan with the elevations of two sections of one wall, one with the outlines of three pictures. This hang, surrounding a door, is drawn on the facing folio 35 of the sketchbook (D07025; Turner Bequest CV 32), where the pictures are identified as ‘Landscape’ by Sir John Leicester, ‘Money Changers in the Temple’ by ?Caravaggio and ‘Beeston Castle’ by George Barret. These details establish that the room and pictures were at Tabley House; see entry for D07025 for more information. Here, the floor plan of a long room divided into three bays by short return walls allows identification with the Picture Gallery, recently created by Thomas Harrison of Chester from smaller rooms in the house.
