Drawn across the top of the page are two sketches of coastal cliffs with a lighthouse (top left), windmills (centre of each sketch) and other buildings. The location of this stretch of coast has not been determined. There are similar sketches of cliffs scattered throughout the sketchbook. For examples, see folios 2 verso, 71 and 81 verso (D26098, D26229, D26248). Beneath these sketches, drawn with the book turned to the right, is a quick sketch of a female figure, either wearing a large hat or perhaps carrying something on her head.
