Maurice Davies has identified these two diagrams as taken from Pietro Accolti, Lo Inganno de gl’occi, prospettiva pratica, Florence 1625, pages 16 and 61.1 Turner probably consulted the copy at the British Museum (since transferred to the British Library, London). There are other diagrams from the same source on folios 45 verso and 46 verso (D07432, D07434).
