The left-hand side of this page contains part of a view of Tivoli which has spilled over from the opposite sheet of the double-page spread, see folio 63 verso (D15046). The sketch depicts the houses lining the banks of the River Aniene as it flows towards the so-called Temple of Vesta.
There are two further sketches on this sheet, drawn with the sketchbook held vertically. These appear to be views of the River Aniene, possibly looking respectively up- and down-river.
