This page, the inner back cover of the sketchbook, contains a sketch of an unidentified draped female figure, possibly a study of a classical sculpture. There is also a very faint sketch of clouds in the top right-hand corner which Turner has inscribed with the word ‘Red’ and various inscriptions relating to his Italian travels.
