This is derived from the drawing by John Robert Cozens (1752–1797) in Beckford Sketchbook VI, p.24, inscribed ‘On the Lago Magiore [sic] Octr 10 [1783]’ (Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester, D1975.9.24).1
