This is the right half of a double-page spread continued from folio 19 verso (D11439), opposite, recording the view north-east over the remains of Jervaulx Abbey towards Danby Hall on the far side of the valley, to the right, and the profile of Penhill noted to the far left. It is a more detailed treatment of the material of the small sketch on folio 19 recto (D11398; see catalogue notes for on Jervaulx Abbey).
