This sketch, recording Kendal Bridge and the tower of the parish church from the right (west) bank of the River Kent, south of the bridge, is continued to the right on D40842, inside the back cover opposite. The sketch on the recto (D11516) depicts the same material, but from a more distant viewpoint.
