These few lines form a continuation to the right of the view of Richmond Corn Mill and Castle on folio 24 verso (D11594; Turner Bequest CXLVIII 41, now bound opposite). The present writer dates this sketch of Richmond to Tuesday 30 July 1816.
Finberg mistakenly thought this page formed a double spread with D11542 (Turner Bequest CXLVIII 12a, now bound as folio 23 verso). The mistake had been noticed and the book rebound before the present writer’s 1984 book.
