This is the right half of a double-page spread continued from folio 59 verso (D10978), opposite, recording the view of Middleham Castle and town from the east on the River Ure below Danby Hall Mill, with Coverdale to the left, Penhill in the distance and Ulshaw Bridges in the middle distance.
