From below Villeveuve, this sketch looks up the Val d’Aosta, with the lower bridge of Villeneuve below left and Introd on the hill in the centre distance. It forms more or less the continuation to the right of the sketch on the verso (D29323; Turner Bequest CCXCIV 59a).
