Finberg confidently identified this as a Dartmoor view,1 perhaps on account of the more readily identifiable subjects in the area on nearby pages such as folio 134 verso (D09644). There seems to be a river valley between wooded hills, seen through a perfunctory screen of trees in the foreground, but the setting might well be on the fringes of Dartmoor; for other definite or likely views, see under folio 8 recto (D09489).
