Finberg confidently described this sketch as showing the ‘River Tamar’,1 but there are few no obvious landmarks to assist in identifying it. The view does seem characteristic of the Tamar Valley area, of which there are more readily identifiable views on adjacent pages; see under folio 114 verso (D09606).
