This page comprises two columns of largely illegible text in pencil, of which only occasional, random words can be made out; it is not clear whether they comprise poetry or prose. The lyrical fragment on folio 76 recto opposite (D09773), ‘Gone are the dews of morn [...] | Few are [...] of the’, is probably related, suggesting that the current passage may also be in verse. The pages are not mentioned in Andrew Wilton and Rosalind Mallord Turner’s study and transcriptions of Turner’s poetry.1 See also folios 1 recto and 77 recto (D09668, D09775).
