This study of dramatic clouds, inverted relative to the sketchbook’s foliation, continues across folio 27 verso (D08326) opposite. A small disk towards the top right of the present page presumably indicates the sun or moon. There are further cloud studies on folios 32 recto, and 33 recto and verso (D08333–D08335).
