With the page turned horizontally, this appears to be a view west across the Laira (Plym Estuary) towards Plymouth from the neighbourhood of Saltram House, possibly indicated at the top right; for Saltram see under folio 81 recto (D09306). The subjects as far as folio 127 recto (D09358) are all identified or presumed sites within a few miles in and around Plymouth, suggesting a series of fairly short excursions.
