Inverted relative to the sketchbook’s foliation, this view shows the Chinese Fishing Temple (now gone), to the north-east across Virginia Water; the trees seen in the foreground at the right-hand edge are continued on folio 81 verso (D22129; Turner Bequest CCXXXVIII 79a).
