As Ian Warrell has suggested,1 this may be a scene on the River Severn near Worcester, the definite subject on adjacent pages; for other views of Worcester, see under folio 2 verso (D22154). The low buildings in the separate study at the top right appear to be medieval or Tudor in style, but are as yet unidentified.
