This is one of a sequence of five drawings that record the interior of York Minster: one is in the contemporary North of England sketchbook (Tate D00975; Turner Bequest XXXIV 66); the other three are on folios 89 recto, 91 recto and 92 recto (D01075, D01077, D01078; Turner Bequest XXXV 73, 75, 76) in this book.
