This is one of a sequence of five drawings that record the interior of York Minster: one is in the contemporary North of England sketchbook, f. 66 (Tate D00975; Turner Bequest XXXIV 66), the other three are on the immediately preceding leaves of this book, folios 89 recto, 90 recto and 91 recto (D01075, D01076, D01077; Turner Bequest XXXV 73, 74, 75).
