Pandy Mill is on the River Machno, about two miles south of Betws-y-Coed. If this identification is correct – and it is based on Turner’s own inscription – this page has been bound out of sequence, since the surrounding subjects appear to be in the region of Cader Idris and the valley of the Mawddach.
Verso:
Inscribed by Turner in pencil ‘Pandy Mill’ and ‘Pandy Dôl Sarôg’; stamped in brown ink with Turner Bequest monogram.
