This may be a detail of the rocks at Aberdulais; Turner had made drawings there in 1795 and produced a finished watercolour of the mill, with its backdrop of huge rocks, cliffs and waterfalls, in the following year or shortly after (National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth, W.169a).1

Technical notes:
Although the watercolour in this sheet is somewhat faded it is much less so than, for example, Tate D01669 and D01670 (Turner Bequest XLI 36, 37) in this sketchbook.
