Inverted relative to the sketchbook’s foliation, the drawing is continued on folio 37 recto opposite (D01748; Turner Bequest XLI 73). This view was presumably taken from a spot close to that of folios 34 verso–35 recto (D01743–D01744; Turner Bequest XLI 68–69), but looking up the slope towards the ruined tower.
