The subject is continued on folio 143 recto opposite (D03188; Turner Bequest LVI 141). Turner probably made this sketch from more or less the same viewpoint as that of folios 141 verso–142 recto (D03185–D03186; Turner Bequest LVI 139a–140), which feature Monzie Castle, having turned to face west.
