This is a continuation of the drawing on folio 185 verso opposite (D03273; Turner Bequest LVI 183a).
There is an outline study of buildings and trees at the top right, drawn with the page turned horizontally; it is possibly related to the left-hand portion of the view on folios 184 verso–185 recto (D03271–D03272; Turner Bequest LVI 182a–183), and tends to confirm that that drawing, labelled ‘Dumbarton’, does indeed belong with the Dumbarton views at the beginning of the book (see folios 25 verso–35 verso; D02961–D02980), since it appears to bear no relation to the subject of the present opening.
