This is a continuation of the drawing on folio 21 verso opposite (D03318). The name scribbled in the lower right corner of this sheet may perhaps be intended for ‘Kilchurn’, the castle at the northern end of Loch Awe which Turner drew on several pages of his 1801 Scotch Lakes sketchbook (Tate; Turner Bequest LVI).
