These sketches show the town of Caister and the coastline near Great Yarmouth in Norfolk. Caister, noted for its medieval castle, is recorded on Tate D18180–D18185; Turner Bequest CCIX 13–15a. Windmills dot the horizon in each of the prospects. All of the sketches have been rendered with the book turned upside down.
