The drawing, made at the outer edge with the page turned vertically, shows a two-masted yacht passing lightly indicated moored vessels. It is among many such coastal and nautical studies in this sketchbook, presumably relating to the regatta events at Cowes from late July 1827 onwards, see the Introduction.
