Inverted relative to the sketchbook’s foliation, at the top right is a group of men standing with a telescope, another man sitting, and what seems to be a woman in a large bonnet. They are presumably watching the racing yachts seen on many adjacent pages. Ann Chumbley and Ian Warrell have noted these figures in relation to another group with a telescope on folio 33 recto (D18052);1 see also folio 19 recto (D18024).
