Assuming this is a single view, there are high cliffs, presumably on a Channel coast, in the background, with loose forms in the foreground apparently including at least one figure, possibly carrying a bag or basket on its back.
The drawing continues a little way onto folio 77 verso opposite (D35623). See the sketchbook’s Introduction for the many slight coastal views scattered through it.
