Turner filled this page with multiple studies of buildings, boats and figures in coastal terrain. Two pencil notes locate these sketches to the vicinity of Luc-sur-Mer. The artist filled multiple pages of the present volume with studies of the settlements of the Normandy coast, a list of which is included in the sketchbook introduction.
