This cursory sketch shows Prague’s Hradcany district at left, with the exterior walls of Prague Castle and the tower of St Vitus Cathedral rendered in slight outline. At the foot of the gradient lies the city’s Lesser or Little Quarter with the domed Church of St Nicholas at right.
