This is a view of the River Main at Frankfurt, Germany, rendered in two instalments to form one prospect. From left to right is Frankfurt Cathedral, the Old Bridge, followed by the Maininsel and the Sachsenhausen district in the upper instalment. Boats and barges assemble in a jumble around a mooring station near the Bridge.
