Artistic practices that take collaborative approaches or which pivot on participation are both widespread and exceedingly varied. How can they be seen together? What do they share in common? What are their cultural and political implications?



Joanne Tatham and Tom O’Sullivan work under the auspices of a partnership, Andreas Lang from the art/architecture collective Public Works negotiates collaborative relations between audiences, while Chris Evans has worked with Starbucks and DaimlerChrysler Finance towards the foundation of a sculpture park in Estonia.
