Lev Tanju, the driving force between London skateboard company Palace, has created a unique set of decks inspired by art on show at Tate Britain

He talks us through the design process and we follow him and his team of skateboarders out on a test run.

The video mixes digital and VHS footage, and a soundtrack by Rustie and Oneohtrix Point Never on Warp records and LuckyMe.

Gross and shameful? Stop being such a snob. It may not be the fine art painting you were looking for but working with a British skater owned and run company to produce some interesting boards is not shameful in the slightest. And don't try compare a small independently run company like Palace to a multibillion dollar company like Nike..
