The Great British Art Debate is now in its fourth and final year. To celebrate a fantastic collaboration between all of the GBAD partners, we decided to make a free iPhone app called ‘Pocket Art Gallery’ to showcase artworks from each of the galleries.
Pocket Art Gallery aims to encourage YOU to take artworks out of the gallery and place them in your surroundings whether that’s your kitchen wall or the local park.

This summer London has been the focus of a lot of international attention and in response The Great British Art Debate has been thinking about the capital and its cultural identity. Does London have a distinct image or identity and, if so, how it can be described?

After a supremely successful tour of the festival circuit last year, we’re delighted to share with you the details of our long awaited return to Camp Bestival. The Great British Art Debate festival team took the fields of Dorset by storm, where we were blessed with clear blue skies and the joys of team spirit.
Here at The Great British Art Debate, we have been quietly working away on a new top secret project. We are only now, allowed to share the first details with you.
