Meet 500 Years of British Art Collection Tour: Landscape

Paintings of mountains, forests and valleys express the wonder we feel about the world around us. Landscapes feature heavily in the history of British art and tell us a great deal about our past, as artists have looked back to previous ways of life or commented on the changes they saw around them. Take a tour of the British landscape through the eyes of Turner, Gainsborough and Constable, and see how modern artists have produced unique responses to the natural world.

Private tours are available to book at Tate all year round. For more details call 020 7887 4946 or visit the private tours web page.
