Members Private View: The EY Exhibition: Impressionists in London

James Tissot London Visitors 1873 Milwaukee Art Museum, Layton Art Collection, Gift of Frederick Layton L1888.14

Be the first to explore captivating works by Monet, Tissot, Pissarro and their compatriots who had escaped to Britain during the Franco-Prussian war and revolution in Paris, at two daytime Private Views before the exhibition opens to the public.

Alternatively, the evening Private Views are the perfect time to see the exhibition outside of gallery hours and are a great social occasion for an evening with friends.

Stay for dinner at the Rex Whistler Restaurant or go for drinks in the Members Room upstairs in the rotunda. Rachel Whiteread will be open for you to visit on the evenings of 1 November and 4 December. All too Human will be open on 5 March.

If you can’t make these times, The EY Exhibition: Impressionists in London, French Artists in Exile (1870 – 1904) is open to Members during Members Hours which will take place on selected Saturdays and Sundays from 9 – 10am, offering the perfect start to your weekend.

Other ways to enjoy Impressionists in London include booking onto A Taste of France at the Rex Whistler, or a Curator's Tour of the exhibition.
