Throughout the world, unknown to most people, there exist extraordinary, man-made environments. Often colossal in scale, these unique worlds have been created by individuals who have sometimes devoted entire lifetimes to their construction

The builders of these spaces, sometimes referred to as ‘visionary environments’, remain unhindered by the usual definitions of architecture and art. Free from conventions, these Outsiders construct their own paradises, inspired by creativity and the power of the imagination.
