Make It: Hand-made digital Led by Emilie Giles from Codasign

Play with simple circuits, software and sewing to craft hand-made e-textile objects, inspired by the quilts and embroidery in the exhibition British Folk Art.

Taking place in a stunning new room at Tate Britain, the Taylor Digital Studio, which is equipped with iMacs, PCs, and free wifi, you are invited to come along and explore this new space which is open for digital creativity.

Emilie Giles is a maker, producer and educator, her work spanning creative technology, crafting and pervasive gaming. She is Co-Director of Codasign, a creative technology education company specialising in workshops on the tools used in interactive media and artwork. These include platforms like Processing and Arduino.

This free event is aimed at 8–13 year olds and online booking is required.
