Mission to the Land of Misplaced Memories: Key Interview with Martyn Day

Which parts of our memory do we choose to remember and which do we choose to forget?

Space traveller Anamnesis and the Data Thieves have lost their way. Memory gaps confuse their ships co-ordinates while ghosts of misplaced memories leak from government archives. In the hope of getting back on course, the crew plan to dock the SS Sugar Ship to discover the truth behind the secrets that have kept them drifting through space and time.

Mission to the Land of Misplaced Memories is a futuristic live sound art installation, a rare exploration of Britain’s colonial history and an exploration of why nations and people suppress memories.

A key interview with Martyn Day, a Leading Human Rights lawyer who successfully represented the Kenyan Mau Mau people in a landmark case against the British government.
